The Red Label finds itself in the Winner’s circle at the T-Mobile Match Play at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas! The winner had Tour Lite 95 shafts in her Callaway irons. The 32-year-old Swedish golfer came into the event looking to end a 5-year victory drought. Her last win on the LPGA was back in 2020 at Gainbridge. The Swedish golfer dominated throughout the early rounds and upset the World #12 golfer in the Semifinals to advance to the final. She got off to a quick start in the final match by winning 4 of the first 6 holes. Although her lead was comfortable, she made some costly mistakes on the next 3 holes to narrow her lead heading into the back nine. Her opponent made birdies on the 11th and 12th holes to take a 1 stroke lead. It took the 32-year-old KBS player 5 holes to regain her lead back on hole 16. She was able to sustain the lead all the way to finish to claim the victory! This win would be her 2nd on the LPGA Tour and the end of a 5-year win drought. She said, “I feel so comfortable standing over the ball at the moment, and most the times it comes out nice. It’s just such a nice feeling”.
