Michigan Week

Driving Range Heroes Special Event – Michigan Week

Hey loyal readers!  We’ve got a special feature coming up next week where we’ll be featuring five of the best golf courses in Northern Michigan, in particular the Upper Peninsula.  Each day next will feature a different course that’s worth the trip.

As a native Michigander and travelling golfer, I’ve been visiting the U.P. for well over a decade, and these places have made a big impression on me.  For one, it is not easy to get the the Upper Peninsula – you’re looking at a 7+ hour drive from Detroit, Chicago, or Minneapolis, OR a multiple stop layover flight into a tiny airport.  It’s an interesting part of the country with a colorful history, amazing natural attractions, and the friendliest, most down-to-earth people you can find.  You’ll also find some outstanding golf, which is what we’re all here for, right?  If you want cool pics and some moderately well-formed sentences, you’re in the right place.

We’ll tour the modern and sleek Sweetgrass Golf Club, the brand spankin’ new Sage Run, the picturesque Timberstone, the complicated Golden Age classic in the Heritage at Marquette Golf Club, and the incomparable Greywalls.

Definitely reach out and interact with us.  We’re happy to tell you more about what we know of these fantastic places, and encourage you to share our stories with all your golf buds that might want to read about them!
