European Tour Challenge - Hovland/Beef

My Favorite European Tour Challenge Videos

This topic came up on Episode 2 of our YouTube show, That Range Life – A Show Sometimes About Golf, and we discussed that the European Tour is by far the best at creating golf videos for the internet.  There have been so many good ones over the years that I thought I would “curate a collection” of my favorite ones they’ve ever done.  At the least, this is a great post to lock into and kill some time later!

Luck of the Draw: Beef v Hovland

This is the video we discussed on the show so I thought I’d kick things off with this one.

Andy Sullivan 500 Ball Challenge

I posted this one before, but it’s a great one so here it is again.  There are quite a few of these 500 Ball Hole-in-On Challenge videos by the European Tour, and they’re all great.

The 200 Yard Gong Challenge

This is an OG video from the Euro Tour and it’s easily one of my favorites.

The Hickory Challenges

The European Tour has done a couple videos around playing hickory clubs.  My favorite is the first video below which was done to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the European Masters.  Lee Westwood, Danny Willett, and Miguel Angel Jimenez played alongside the 2013 Hickory World Golf Champion, Paolo Quirici, and the results were very entertaining.

In 2018, Rickie Fowler and many others took part in a closest-to-the-pin challenge using hickory clubs, and it too was fun to watch.

Happy Gilmore Nearest to the Pin Challenge

We’ve all tried it…

The Heckle Challenge

I just thought this one was funny and secretly what I’d love to do while I’m playing.

The Gunpowder Golf Shot

Hit golf balls.  Blow things up.  That looked fun.

The Grand Finale – The Clay Pigeon Shot

I think this was the video that officially put the European Tour on the map for their internet dominance.  I remember watching this close to a zillion times when it first came out and I’m still just as impressed when I watch it now.  Enjoy.
