Tour Edge Exotics E725 Driver
Straight. Forgiving. Long. That’s really all you need to know about the Tour Edge Exotics E725 driver. And on top of that, it’s the brand’s most forgiving driver yet! MOI, or Moment of Inertia, is regulated by the USGA and measures how much the clubhead wants to rotate around the golf ball at impact from heel to toe. This is what ultimately determines how straight the clubface stays through impact, and how forgiving the driver will be. The USGA limits this value to a max of 5,900 g-cm². But Tour Edge took things a step further with a new MOI measurement that also tracks how much the clubhead wants to rotate vertically at impact. By optimizing both horizontal and vertical MOI, they’ve managed to achieve a total MOI of over 10,000, making the E725 incredibly stable and consistent.
The Looks
While the Tour Edge Exotics E725 driver has a full 460cc profile, but it wears it well. The footprint at address is moderate, tapering slightly into the hosel. This gives the club a more streamlined look that’s not too rounded. This year, the Ridgeback spine has been replaced with a 360º frame that supports the perimeter of the club, reducing weight in the crown. By removing that weight, Tour Edge was able to reposition mass more efficiently throughout the head, helping achieve maximum MOI.
The sole of the E725 is more minimalist compared to its C725 driver counterpart. There’s an adjustable weight in the rear that lets you fine-tune the club’s bias for a draw, fade, or neutral flight. Notably, there’s no forward weight, as the design prioritizes easier launch and maximum MOI, which would be harder to achieve with more weight up front. Lastly, the Power Channel helps with strategic weight distribution and face flex, boosting ball speed.
How Does it Feel?
If you’re after a clean, well-balanced, and stable-feeling driver, the Tour Edge Exotics E725 is hard to beat. Thanks to its rear CG, 360º Ridgeback, and 10k MOI, a squared clubface feels almost automatic. It’s a great feeling to simply make your swing and trust the club to consistently “slot itself” where you want it, especially when paired with the right shaft for your game.
The 3D Diamond Face, with its raised diamond pattern, acts like “mini trampolines” behind the face, maximizing ball speed and forgiveness. This leads to more consistent, satisfying impacts, and even mishits feel like they have more life to them. That boost in performance is not only good for your game, but also for your confidence. When you combine the 3D Diamond Face with the rigidity of the 360º Ridgeback, the E725 delivers a direct, powerful feel at impact.
How Does it Sound?
The first time I heard the sound of the Tour Edge Exotics E725 driver was on the driving range, and it was being hit by my good pal Kris McEwen. Kris and I were out for one of our usual “before-work 9-hole rounds,” shooting content for the YouTube channel. That morning, he was testing the E725 line of clubs, while I had the C725 woods in my bag. I was warming up and minding my own business when I suddenly heard this sound of perfection behind me. Turning around, I saw Kris hitting drives, and the look on his face told me he was just as impressed as I was. Personally, I think the E725 driver is the best sounding club in the Exotics 725 family.
When you catch one in the sweet spot, the E725 driver produces a crisp, definitive “crack”—loud enough to inspire confidence in your shot, but not so loud that it dominates the range. The finned internal ribbing (designed to fine-tune acoustics) and the 360º Ridgeback technology keep the sound tight and controlled. There’s a perfect blend of carbon fiber from the crown and the face’s titanium that combines to create that near-perfect tone. And thanks to the 3D Diamond Face, the sound is consistent across most of the face, making each strike feel and sound solid.
On-Course Performance
Club Speed | Ball Speed | Launch Angle | Spin | Carry (Yds) | Total (Yds) |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
114.8 | 172.4 | 13.9º | 2619 | 286.3 | 307.6 |
As I mentioned in the Feel section, the Tour Edge Exotics E725 driver proved to be consistent and reliable. Hitting a nice, straight shot that holds its line felt almost effortless. The only issue I ran into was a bit of ballooning—until I swapped in my trusty Ventus TR Blue shaft. Once I made that adjustment, I was launching a smooth, rising shot with effortless launch. My dispersion stayed tight, but I still had the flexibility to shape and flight the ball as needed. Ball speeds remained high, and the Power Channel along with the 3D Diamond Face really seemed to help on shots struck low on the face.
The adjustable rear weight positions the CG toward the back of the clubhead, making it easier to get the E725 in the air. But it also plays a role in shot shape. There are three positions available to promote a fade, draw, or neutral flight bias. While the changes aren’t drastic, they definitely make a noticeable difference. If you’re looking to completely eliminate a slice, no, that’s not what this adjustability is meant for. However, if you want to fine-tune your stock shot or fix a small leak, the weight does a great job of dialing in your flight.
