Tour Edge finished the 2023 PGA TOUR Champions season with a bang by earning the #1 fairway and hybrid model in play ranking at the season-finale Charles Schwab Cup Championship this past weekend.
In the season-ending tournament that featured the top 36 players on the tour, Tour Edge bested every manufacturer for #1 fairway and hybrid model in play with nine of their C723 models in play. That beat the next closest manufacturer model by three clubs.
Tour Edge had two players finish in the Top 10 at the PGA TOUR Champions season finale this past weekend at Phoenix Country Club.
Staff players Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka both finished 8th at the Schwab Cup Championship.
A total of 1,110 Exotics clubs were in play this season by 43 different Champions players. That led Tour Edge players to collect 21 Top 5 finishes and 46 Top 10 finishes on the 2023 PGA TOUR Champions.
Tour Edge was in the bag for two Major Championship victories and five total victories on the 2023 PGA TOUR Champions schedule.
Bernhard Langer
Langer finished No. 5 on the season-long Charles Schwab Cup standings. The ageless wonder won twice, had a runner-up finish, and amassed 13 Top 10 finishes, five of those being Top 5’s.
He added to his legacy by winning twice on the 2023 Tour, including a historic win at 43rd U.S. Senior Open in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
With his 46th victory on the PGA TOUR Champions, he set the record for all-time victories, earned his 14th major championship trophy, and broke his own record as the oldest PGA TOUR winner at 65 years, 10 months, and 5 days.
Langer’s win surpassed Hale Irwin’s 16-year-old record of 45 PGA TOUR Champions titles.
Alex Cejka
Tour Edge staff player Alex Cejka finished 9th in the final Schwab Cup rankings with a win at the Senior Open Championship and 12 total Top 10 finishes in 2023.
He’s finished in the Top 10 of the final Schwab Cup standings in two straight years as a Tour staff player.
Ken Duke
Tour Edge staff player Ken Duke finished 23rd in the final Schwab Cup standings.
He won the 2023 Shaw Charity Classic earlier this year with an emotional birdie on the last hole, giving him his first trophy in his 100th career start on the PGA Champions Tour. He also earned four Top 10 finishes in the 2023 season.
Here’s what Ken had in play for the momentous breakthrough victory at the Shaw Charity Classic earlier this year:
Exotics 9.5-degree E722 Driver
Exotics 15-degree C723 Fairway Metal
Exotics 18-degree C723 Fairway Metal

Drivers
In 2023, Tour Edge experienced 119 different drivers in play on the PGA TOUR Champions. That now totals 294 Exotics drivers in play on the PGA TOUR Champions over the past two seasons.
Of the 119 drivers in play, 81 were Exotics C723 Series Drivers, accounting for 68% of the Tour Edge drivers that were put into play.
Fifteen different players chose to play a Tour Edge driver this season.
Since the start of the 2020 season, 43 different players have put an Exotics driver into tournament play, leading the brand to two driver victories, two runner-up finishes, 23 Top 5 finishes and 44 Top 10’s with their drivers over the past three seasons.
Tour Edge staffer Scott McCarron played an Exotics C723 Driver all season and finished the season 4th in driving distance rankings with a 296.3 yards average off the tee.
Fellow staff player Ken Duke played an Exotics E723 Driver for the majority of the season and ranked 4th in driving accuracy with 77.52% of fairways hit.
Fairways and Hybrids
Tour Edge experienced a total of 448 fairways and hybrids in play in the 2023 season.
With 293 clubs in play this season, C723 was one of the most played fairway and hybrid models on the PGA Tour Champions.
Irons
It was a career best for us this season as far as iron sets in play. Ninety-three sets of Exotics irons were put into play by eight different players in 2023.
This was led by the Exotics Pro 723, which was one of the fastest growing new iron sets on the tour this year.
125 Exotics utility irons were also put into play, making us one of the most played brands for utility irons on the 2023 tour.
Wedges
The launch of the Exotics Wingman Wedge late in the season helped us set a new best for number of wedges in play this season as well.
Three players put Wingman into tournament play, including Langer who was the inspiration behind the new wedge design.
A total of 139 Exotics wedges were put into play on Champions in 2023.
25 PGA TOUR Champions Victories
With five wins this season, we have now collected 25 victories on the PGA TOUR Champions since the company started working full-time with Champions tour players.
We’ve seen 4,699 clubs played by over 165 different PGA Tour professionals on the three PGA Tours since the start of the 2018 season.
In that time, Tour Edge has earned 141 Top 5 finishes and 305 Top 10 finishes on the PGA tours.
