Introducing “Inside the Putter Vault”
January/February in “internet golf blog/media/website world” is always an interesting one. And kind of boring for the first few weeks, honestly. The PGA Show eventually takes place where the entire world of golf professionals and media members converge for a week of gear/product info and chaos. All the big names in the business officially introduce their new season of equipment offerings. The PGA Tour starts back up. Most importantly, it always feels like golf is starting to fire up its engine again! That said, there’s a really weird time of sitting and waiting for everything to get moving and there’s a lot less to write about. I call this the “all blog season” here. So with needing some content for you guys while we wait for the 2021 rush, I’m going to try this “Inside the Putter Vault” series.
Ever since we started this site a handful of years ago, I’ve kept a draft of a post featuring some of the putters I’ve collected over the years. Being the good golf nerd that I am, my putter vault is fairly extensive and I have some real gems in it. Well, at least I think so. Given our general audience is also full of golf gear fanatics, I thought some people might find it interesting. Maybe I can even teach people a thing or two!
So keep your eyes peeled. Some of the putters you’ll have seen in reviews here already. Some may have never even seen the light of day. I’ll be posting everything from Scotty Cameron, to Xenon, to Odyssey, to brands that may not even exist anymore. Maybe I’ll even share some of my project putters? Either way, there will be a lot of fun putter pictures to look at, and who doesn’t love putter pictures?! Keep your eyes peeled for the first step into my “Putter Vault” and see what gets featured first.
