CARLSBAD, Calif., Jan. 22, 2020 – Callaway Golf (NYSE: ELY), an industry leader in distance-enhancing technologies in golf clubs and balls, today announced long-drive sensation Kyle Berkshire has joined the Callaway World Long Drive Team. 

Currently ranked No. 1 in the World Long Drive rankings, Kyle is the reigning 2019 World Long Drive Champion. His rise to the top of the sport has been nothing short of meteoric. He reached the semifinals of the 2017 WLD Championship less than a year after beginning serious long- drive training. By the close of 2018 he’d risen to No. 5 in the WLD rankings, and then dominated the 2019 WLD season by winning five of eight events and finishing runner up in two. 

Raised in Crofton, MD, Kyle, 23, excelled in junior golf, leading his team to three state championships, and earning a scholarship to the University of North Texas, where he continued cultivating his talent for the long ball. 

Kyle will use a long drive-specific driver head from Callaway in competition with only 5- degrees of loft.
