Last week I showed you my tedious and annoying, but effective, technique to turn a ferrule by hand here. Well, I got sick and tired of this method so I asked our good buddy, Chip Usher, to help me figure it once and for all. The video below is Chip showing you just how easy it is. My advice is light pressure, just enough to wear the ferrule down, and don’t overdo it. The most important thing to keep in mind is to keep the club spinning and spinning fast. It will take time and practice to develop the touch, but it’s a skill worth learning if you’re going to be building clubs.
